The Rutledges spend our Thanksgiving annually at our family farm in Dickson, Tennessee - Drop Tine Farm. Lots of hunting, four-wheelers, and phase ten. This year, my cousin, Mika Beth, her husband, Matt, and their three daughters, Addison, Turner Grace, and Sophie came all the way from Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was nice having three additional little sisters for the long weekend.
Mika Beth happens to be a skilled photographer...and was gracious enough to take our engagement photos while she was in town. I wanted some on our vintage mopeds and I don't think this could have turned out any cuter. So happy. Check out her website: here

When it's time to get creative...are you easily inspired by your surroundings? An office should be the room that best reflects you and all things that inspire you. How does your office space feel on a daily basis? Is it neat or messy? My desk varies and is always-changing. I would love to work in any of these wonderful rooms...

| clearly this is a dining space...but I would love to see it used as an office. you had me at potted plants upon the ledge of a white, tiled wall. don't even get me started on the sofa... |

who am i?
I'm unsure if you're all aware that bubblegum pink isn't exactly my thing. But in case I haven't been clear...it isn't. However, I'm surprisingly in love with everything about this sweet look from Jill Stuart. Tan skin, barbie-blonde hair, dropped-waist, the pleating...oh the pleating! Wonderful, chiffony, sheery goodness. I would have used different shoes, but hey.

Design*Sponge at Home
Last Tuesday, my friend, Amy, and I attended a book signing at West Elm featuring Grace Bonney - author of the blog, Design*Sponge. Her new book, Design*Sponge at Home was something I was quite excited about and it was thrilling to actually meet her - she was so cute and tiny! Amy and I played in the Smilebooth [which featured a backdrop designed by Chelsea Peteja] and took photos with Grace - all in all, a great event! Yayyy :) My apologies for the iPhone photos.
